Data Use Policy
Effective date: August 28, 2026
The OCD Treatment Center publishes aggregate, de-identified clinical outcomes data — including the results on our Treatment Outcomes page — because we believe treatment programs should show their measured results. This policy explains how that data may be used.
What the data is
Our published outcomes data consists of aggregate, de-identified Y-BOCS scores from clients of our 3-week intensive outpatient program. No names, ages, or other identifying details are collected with scores or published. It is program-evaluation data, not a controlled research study; the methodology and limitations are published alongside the numbers.
Permitted uses
- You may cite, quote, and share our published outcomes figures — in articles, research, clinical discussions, AI-generated answers, and media coverage — free of charge.
- Attribution is required: credit "The OCD Treatment Center" and link to theocdtreatmentcenter.com/treatment-outcomes/ where the format allows.
- Please quote figures in context — including that they reflect our 3-week intensive program, the time period covered, and (where space allows) the stated limitations.
Prohibited uses
- Do not present the data as your own, or as the results of a different program or provider.
- Do not alter the figures or present them in a way that misrepresents the methodology, the population, or the stated limitations.
- Do not use the data to imply endorsement of a third-party product or service by The OCD Treatment Center.
Underlying records
The underlying client-level records are confidential clinical records and are not available for distribution. Only the published aggregate figures are covered by this policy.
