The More Than CBT Framework
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapeutic treatment that helps individuals understand the thoughts and feelings that influence behaviors. CBT is commonly used to treat a wide range of disorders, including phobias, addiction, depression, and anxiety. It involves efforts to change thinking patterns and behaviors.
Our founder, Brad, found that throughout his ten years of using CBT to treat clients, the generalized approach of traditional CBT was not enough for many of his clients. Because of this experience, he created the More Than CBT framework. Our More Than CBT framework acknowledges that one size does not fit all; Therefore, it uses traditional CBT as the backbone of treatment but it goes beyond traditional CBT and incorporates over 40 additional tools and strategies that Brad created to help our clients reach recovery faster and remain in recovery longer.
