Tiffany Vicencio, LMFT
OCD & ANXIETY SPECIALIST
Tiffany Vicencio, LMFT, is a graduate of Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where she received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
Tiffany’s interest in the treatment of anxiety disorders developed early in her education, while completing her undergraduate studies at UCLA. Her first experiences working directly with patients suffering with OCD began with practicum training during her Master’s program, which took place at the UCLA OCD Intensive Treatment Program. There she gained valuable experience and knowledge working with patients that were severely affected by OCD.
Through years of specializing in ERP and OCD treatment, Tiffany has become attuned to the specific needs of people suffering from OCD, and she is very passionate and supportive when it comes to helping clients along their path to recovery. She has treated numerous clients with co-occurring conditions such as major depression, social anxiety, panic disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and autism spectrum disorder.
Tiffany is a great proponent for the use of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) in the treatment of OCD and other anxiety spectrum disorders, as she has seen first-hand the efficacy of the technique in many modes of treatment. Along with working with clients in a one-on-one setting, she has helped guide couples and families through treatment. Her work in group therapy has included both the treatment of adults and young adults with OCD, as well as a family and loved ones support group. She is an active member of the Southern California affiliate of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF).
