Czarina De Jesus, MA, AMFT
OCD & ANXIETY SPECIALIST
Czarina De Jesus is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). She received her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University and completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology at UCLA.
Czarina’s interest in this field piqued at UCLA when she began working in early care education centers, in which she witnessed the positive impact of attunement and empathy on the development of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. While pursuing her Master’s, Czarina provided therapeutic services to college students at Vanguard University.
After completing her post-graduate degree, Czarina worked for a private practice in which she gained experience working with various populations presenting with an array of diagnoses. Czarina found herself particularly drawn to her work with kids, teens, and young adults.
Czarina also found herself particularly interested in the OCD/anxiety population as she noticed how relevant and common the symptoms were throughout her caseload. She became intrigued at how different the diagnosis could present and how creative one could be in treating the symptoms.
Czarina truly believes in the healing power of the client-therapist relationship through genuine acceptance and attunement. She aspires to provide a space in which both the therapist and client can be their authentic selves, explore together, and even have fun! She hopes to bring enthusiasm and warmth into the room, inviting empathy to be a central tenet of therapy. Through this therapeutic process, she hopes to support her clients in identifying their strengths, creating change, investing in their mental health, and ultimately finding empowerment in their lives.
