We are not in network with any insurance but we are able to provide superbills if you have out of network benefits for you to submit to your insurance to be reimbursed at the rate of your out of network benefits. If you are unfamiliar with superbills, they are basically like a receipt that we provide you after your session that indicates to your insurance company what service we provided, what it was for, and how much you paid so they know what to reimburse you. If you are not sure if you have out of network benefits or if you are not sure what your reimbursement rate might be, here is how to find out along with some information you may find helpful when speaking with your insurance:
Firstly, call the member services number on the back of your insurance card. It will either direct you to a person or to a robot that will ask what you are calling for. You want to select the “Eligibility and Benefits” option. Once there, it may be a robot that lists out the benefits associated with your plan so make sure to have a pen and paper ready. You are listening for the “Out of Network” benefit option, it usually lists your in network benefits first. The reimbursement rate will be a percentage (ie. 60/40, 50/50, 80/20) and that is the percentage you pay that insurance should reimburse you for.
